Granite , Marble , Travertine , Slate and sandstone are classic flooring materials. Their eternal charm
lends elegance to every room.
To maintain their beauty, however, it is necessary to protect them
with natural, wax-based products, and to keep them clean with products
that respect and exalt their features.
The type of surface finish determines the type of protection and
maintenance procedure.
Initial
wash of shiny polished version
Washing is fundamental for good treatment results.
To prevent any damage to its polished surface, avoid all acid, wax
stripper or alkaline products.
Do not use abrasive pads.
Spread the neutral detergent FilaCleaner
diluted at 1:30 over the floor
Buff with floor polisher and soft pad
or long-handled brush and cloths
Remove the residue with a cloth or liquid
vacuum cleaner.

Protection for shiny, polished version
Despite its polish, the floor must be protected against stains and
dirt. This can be done with
Veneziana Wax or Fila MP/90 stain protection.
Repolishable Veneziana
wax should be used diluted at 1:2 - 1:3 for new floors, and concentrated
on worn floors.
When the floor is dry (at least 8 hours after washing):
Apply Venezianaa
with a cloth
Wait until completely dry
Polish with a woollen cloth or floor
polisher.
Where there is a risk of staining (kitchens, bathrooms etc.), the
floor should be treated with Fila
MP/90 as follows:
Apply a coat of Fila
MP/90 with a flat brush, cloth or other suitable applicator
Wait 24 hours
When dry, remove any excess with a floor
polisher and white pad. Any tenacious residue can then be removed
with a cloth lightly soaked
